About Us

Queer Croydon – a one-stop shop for South London & Croydon’s queer events, news, and services.

Who are Queer Croydon?

Queer Croydon was launched as part of Croydon’s year as London Borough of Culture; with lots of help from our friends at Stanley Arts and Their Majesties.

We are an open platform for queer stories & events from Croydon and South London, sharing content across our website and social channels. We are also going to be producing our own Queer Croydon live events, showcasing the very best of local queer talent.

If you have an queer event you want us to promote then simply upload it on the Event Submission page. If you have a queer story that you think would make a great article for the website then get in touch via email or our socials.

Queer Croydon is brought to you by a voluntary collective of queer artists and activists who make up the Queer Arts Advisory Group. We meet monthly to discuss how better to promote queer arts and queer stories. If you would like to be part of the Queer Arts Advisory Group then drop us a line in the form below. We would love to hear from you.

With initial funding from Arts Council England’s Place Partnership Fund and additional support from the Paul Hamlyn Foundation we are trying to build a legacy for the future. We want Queer Croydon to be thriving long after Croydon’s year as the London Borough of Culture. If you can help in anyway with funding or other support in kind then get in touch.

We seek to be bold and brave; loving and kind; honest & respectful. We’re here for everyone.

Our Aims

Our aims are simple:
