At Queer Croydon, we offer free, confidential counselling for LGBTQ+ people in Croydon.
This service is delivered by trained counsellors and provides a supportive, non-judgemental space to talk through whatever you may be experiencing. Sessions are person-centred, trauma-informed, and grounded in an understanding of the specific challenges faced by LGBTQ+ communities.
This service is open to LGBTQ+ people aged 18+ living in Croydon.
We prioritise support for trans, non-binary, and gender non-conforming individuals, as well as those experiencing barriers to accessing mainstream mental health services.
Our counselling offer forms part of Queer Croydon’s wider holistic, community-led approach to wellbeing. Alongside one-to-one support, we encourage service users to engage with our broader programme of creative, social, and peer-led activities, supporting longer-term connection, confidence, and community building beyond the counselling space.
Due to high demand, counselling is offered as a short-term intervention, with a limited number of sessions available per person. Spaces are allocated based on need and availability.
To access the service, please complete the form below with a brief outline of the support you are seeking. We may arrange a short initial conversation to ensure the service is appropriate and to explore how we can best support you.
Where appropriate, we will also signpost or refer individuals to other specialist services for longer-term or more intensive support.
