RADAR Keys

IMPORTANT UPDATE

We’re pleased to share that we have now cleared our backlog of RADAR key requests and have lifted our waiting list.

You are very welcome to submit your details using the form below. We are now processing new requests as they come in and will be in touch as soon as we’re able to process yours.

Queer Croydon is a small, volunteer-led grassroots organisation, and we continue to receive a significant number of requests. We really appreciate your patience and understanding while our volunteers work to process each request with care and attention.

Queer Croydon has been closely following recent events, and we are deeply concerned by the increasing challenges facing trans, non-binary, gender non-conforming and intersex communities.

Access to safe facilities is not a luxury—it’s a basic necessity. That’s why we’ve adopted our RADAR Key Scheme, helping members of our community access accessible toilets with greater privacy, dignity and peace of mind.

Where possible, we encourage people to collect their key from one of our upcoming Queer Croydon events. You can view our upcoming events at queercroydon.com/events.

Some events require booking in advance, while others are open to everyone – please check the individual event listing for details.

If you’re unable to attend an event, we’re also happy to post a key anywhere in the UK. While our primary catchment area is Croydon and South London, we’ve now distributed over 4,000 RADAR keys, including more than 2,000 posted nationwide.

To help us process your request, please let us know whether you would prefer to:

  •  Collect your key at one of our events; or
  • Receive your key by post (if so, please include your full postal address in your message).

There are no questions, no gatekeeping—just care.

Our RADAR Key Scheme is made possible through donations, which help us continue providing keys free of charge to those who need them most.

If you’re in a position to purchase your own, RADAR keys are available online for just a few pounds. However, if cost, access or safety is a barrier, please know this scheme is here for you.

If you are able to support our work, donations are always welcome:

  • Trans Relief Fund – helping us send keys and provide micro-relief grants for local trans people.
  • Queer Croydon Support Fund – sustaining the wider running of Queer Croydon and our community wellbeing activities.
