Taste The Rainbow Treated Us To Queer Joy

On Saturday 25th November, Queer Croydon had its first ever event at Boxpark. We are now so excited to announce that it SOLD OUT!

When we started Queer Croydon, we always envisaged pushing for more Queer safe spaces in the borough as well as amplifying artists. We could not be happier with how the first event went! We tasted the rainbow, took a ride on it, and found a pot of gold!

Compered by Their Majesties founder and host Shepherd’s Bush, the fabulous evening of entertainment showcased exactly what is best about local, Queer, Croydon talent. We are incredibly grateful for the amazing array of performers who treated us to all the colours and flavours of the rainbow and made the evening so special:

Duniya Dhoom
Mary Jane Holland
Merlin The Grey
Minara Èl Waters
Rolo Chick
Serena Serpentina
Ula Lah

Keeping us dancing all night was Britain’s First Out Muslim Drag Queen and Their Majesties host Asifa Lahore, who gave us all the tunes and more!

We have only just whet your appetite and something tells us over at Queer Croydon HQ that you won’t go hungry for much longer! Keep your eyes peeled for an announcement coming soon…
